GRAPHICS MANAGER

We are looking for a hard-working, creative and passionate Graphics Manager to join our marketing team. This is a diverse role which suits a well-rounded designer who enjoys working across both digital and print. Working closely with the marketing, visual merchandising and PR teams, the Graphics will help support and maintain brand consistency as Charlotte Olympia continues to grow globally. The position will report directly into the Marketing Director and work closely with the Creative Director and President.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Marketing Director and working closely with the Creative Director, Charlotte Olympia Dellal, your role will involve creating and maintaining the visual identity of the brand, working on a wide variety of design tasks that include:

  • Creative marketing - working across a range of disciplines to create concepts, design solutions and layouts for both digital and printed promotional material including lookbooks, press releases, marketing collateral for shows and events, launch concepts, point of sale, digital presentations, slideshows and social media posts. A good knowledge of print is highly advantageous.
  • Art-working – creating and art-working files for various print & digital projects, including typesetting information tables, producing artwork for visual merchandising instore displays or windows, packaging, stationery, pricelists, catalogues and providing print-ready files. Executing rigorous quality checks including spell checking & proofreading, requiring a keen and methodical eye for detail.
  • Be the brand guardian by ensuring all designs follow the brand standards and are consistent with the brand strategy.
  • Work with photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, web developers and marketing specialists.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experienced manager within either an agency or in-house with experience in all areas of graphic design and art-working.
  • Highly organised, efficient and hands-on, including organisational and emotional skills to handle this level of productivity.
  • Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
  • Experience working or liaising with a larger organisation with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven and able to multi-task, with time management skills.
  • Strong eye for typography and layout.
  • Proven experience in fast turnarounds and ideas creation and delivery is also key ability to take briefs from concept through to print-ready artwork.
  • Strong knowledge in graphic materials and interest in the latest in-print and packaging techniques.
  • InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills essential.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills - ability to communicate creative ideas effectively and liaise directly with printers and external suppliers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a constantly evolving work environment.

SALES CONSULTANT

To support our continued growth and development we are currently recruiting for a full time Sales Consultant (Arabic speaking preferred) to join the Charlotte Olympia team within our Mayfair store.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 
  • Being and reflecting a consistent example of the glamorous, luxury lifestyle image of Charlotte Olympia through customer relationship management, attitude, personal grooming, dress code and behaviour to the team and ensuring that they also reflect this.
  • Actively striving to achieve key performance indicators in order to increase store performance and reach individual and store targets.
  • Supporting your line manager and providing exceptional standards of customer service and surpassing customer expectations at every opportunity by following our “selling ceremony” and by personally providing exceptional customer service to VIP clients and delivering personal sales.
  • Building, developing and maintaining your own client database ensuring repeat visits and customer loyalty.
  • Participating in, and representing Charlotte Olympia, as may be required, during promotional events and activities actively engaging.

VISUAL MERCHANDISER (8 – 10 MONTH CONTRACT)

We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our team at Charlotte Olympia for maternity coverage. The Visual Merchandiser will be an ambassador for Charlotte Olympia and will be responsible for visual merchandising throughout Charlotte Olympia boutiques and spaces and ensuring that each of these are to the highest standards of product display. The VM would work directly with the Creative Director and President of the company. This is a contract position for the period set out above.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, coordinate, install and dress the windows and installations for all Charlotte Olympia boutiques, shop-in-shops and concessions internationally and ensure all stores receive the appropriate communication, graphics and props each season on time and within budget.
  • Project manage the conception, implementation and execution of all soft merchandising assets, including launches, concepts, brand pop ups, boutiques, windows and guidelines for all Charlotte Olympia boutiques and spaces in a timely manner and in coordination with retail, sales, and marketing teams.
  • VM support to launch of all new stores, concessions and spaces in keeping with VM standards.
  • Create and circulate seasonal VM guidelines to all Charlotte Olympia boutiques, shop-in-shops and concessions and spaces, for all seasonal collections, collaborations and special projects.
  • Take direction and instruction from the Creative Director and President and to deliver balanced and commercial visual merchandising that helps achieve KPIs including sales, productivity and profit.
  • Work alongside the marketing team, ecom and press to ensure all channels are aligned.
  • Develop and organise concepts for each seasonal collection as shown at market week in Charlotte Olympia showrooms in Milan and Paris.
  • Ensure that the Charlotte Olympia brand and image is never compromised.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 3 years proven visual merchandising experience within luxury visual merchandising, ideally within the footwear and accessory environment.
  • Impeccable project management skills essential, must be able to create and work to strict timelines to ensure all installations are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of luxury footwear brands, seasonal trend awareness and resources and their relevance to Charlotte Olympia’s approach and impact on visual merchandising.
  • Highly organised, efficient and hands-on, including working in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
  • Strong team player who coaches and supports team members and boutique staff on executing visual merchandising and VM techniques.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven and able to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skill essential.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills - ability to communicate creative ideas effectively and liaise directly with printers and external suppliers.
